Getting Started

Melissa first started working with insurance as a Certified Pharmacy Technician in 2009 and working as a Care Coordinator through 2018. Becoming a licensed insurance agent in 2019 was the next logical step toward being able to help individuals with the logistics of their healthcare needs.

Making a Difference

Currently Melissa primarily assists Scott with all aspects of his agency. She works with employee benefits for small business owners, anyone eligible for Medicare, and Individuals and Families looking for health insurance solutions both off-Exchange and on-Exchange through the Marketplace.

‌Melissa has helped clients who owned a business to find solutions in attracting and retaining top talent by building great employee benefits packages and helping the business owners to enroll their family and themselves on a guaranteed issue basis in health and life insurance which they may not have otherwise qualified for. Happy employees are better workers and employee success equals company success.

Outside of the Office

When she’s not working, Melissa stays busy with her two daughters and her dogs. The family is active in their church and always on the go, taking family trips and working together in the community. They provide meals to the homeless on the weekends and volunteer at a local shelter when not traveling.
